Citrus are a licensed and regulated Communications Provider with multiple regulated BT TDM and private IP carrier interconnects across BT IPX, Vodafone, Gamma, Verizon and a number of international operators.

High Availability Platforms

Our voice and digital services are hosted on High Availability platforms deployed across three UK datacentres interconnected via a private IP ring. The infrastructure consists of SBC’s, VoIP Peering, Media Application servers and a BGP network connecting multiple IP providers to ensure resilient and redundant connectivity.

The provision of a highly resilient network, service, and the business support capabilities necessary for rapid service deployment, innovation and rollout is enabled by this rapidly scalable architecture. Our leading-edge Plutonium network performance and behaviour monitoring system provides detailed graphical displays and automated alert generation in response to network events, giving early awareness and insight into issues which help the dedicated team diagnose internal and external faults as soon as possible.

Hardware redundancy is built into the solution design from power supplies and network interfaces, through to service component redundancy and load balancing, to provide “carrier grade service reliability”. 24/7 support is provided via our ticketing system with automated support engineer alerts. In addition to the range of service-ready applications, our development team exploit the extreme flexibility of the Citrus infrastructure to adapt existing and create new applications providing market differentiators for our customers.

In 2014, we began collaborative work on a new Hosted Contact Centre solution that has grown into our market leading DigiDesk platform, with fully integrated voice and digital channels. DigiDesk has now been successfully rolled out to a range of contact centres, as a multi-channel solution and to customers adopting just a single channel. Customers range from a global food and beverage business to a top Premiership football club.
